This year the first Winter Series race was actually sunny! I ran a 3 mile warm up and barely made it to the line before we started. I ran my first mile in 5:37 which was the pace Bill wanted me to run. My second mile I slowed down 10 seconds. The last mile I was slowing and trying to keep going. One guy caught me and tried to pass me but I stuck with him. Eventually I pushed past him, passed a girl and finished the second girl. And a PR!! I ran 6 miles cool down and finished 3 more miles later. |
