2 miles warm up before my race. I felt really good about this race. I got out fast and I worked the whole time to keep my place in first. I could hear the girl behind me and kept myself ahead of her. Though 16 laps can be confusing- when I only had 200m left, I thought I had 400 so I didn't start kicking until later. I ran a mile cool down in the rain, then ran another 4.5 to finish for the week. |
