Today was a brutal yet beautiful workout day. We ran mile repeats at 5:30 with 6 minutes rest. My goal was 4. We ran 5:29, 5:30, 5:28 and I told coach I want to just push through one more. I started that darn 4th one and my legs and body felt rockin' awesome. We ran 5:30 and it felt right on pace and even. I knew I needed to do one more. I let 2 other girls pace and just focused and running right behind them. We ran a 5:23 last one. I was ecstatic to finish a whole workout and that workout. I have never done that many mile repeats or at that pace. It was a huge confidence boost for the 10K next week. I finished to 10.5 and ran 4 later.
