Morning mile shake out and usual race day routine- eat, sleep, read, nap, get ready to race. My race was scheduled for 9PM but before events started at the track, weather delays. It was the craziest wind/rain and thunder and lightning. Where our hotel was, we were in a tornado warning area and I was freaking out with the lightning and thunder (and spend a lot of time on the first floor of the lobby just to be safe...) We kept getting pushed back and pushed back. I was planning on running at 1AM when they annouced after 4 hours of delay, meet was suspended and new schedule to be announced soon. We went for a 3 mile run and it started pouring rain, but no tornado for us. Finishing the run, my stomach was killing and I felt awful. I ate something that did not sit well because I spent the next while in the bathroom and trying not to puke... yayy. We finally heard 10K was at 8AM and went to bed.
