First day of outdoor track! And it is definitely track season- It was nice and sunny at the beginning of the workout and by the end it was blizzarding. Welcome to track. We have a lot of new people on the team. It is fun to have more people at workouts. We ran usual 2 lap warm up, stretching circle, drills. Then we ran 6 laps of drill, stride, and bleachers. Afterwards a group of us ran 7.5 to get an even 10 for the day. We ran to Red Butte, JCC and across 11th Ave to Popperton Park and back the Shriners run. It was supposed to be a recovery run, but I was pushing the pace because I wanted to go to the basketball game. The last mile were in the snow and brutal wind. Did my core. |
