This is the most miles I have done in one day and a week.... and now I feel it. I ran a 4.5 mile warm up before the race. The race was really long. I got out with a tight group for the first mile, which was nice. By mile 2, I was in no man's land for the rest of the race. After the turnaround I slowed down a lot. My legs got really heavy and I was exhausted. It was hard to finish but I did. I ran the course again for a cool down and ran 5 more at home to finish for the week. |
