10K time again and it was quite the experience. Again. Slept/relaxed all day and raced at 8:30. We ran a 2 mile warm up and began. We wanted to run 83's but got behind about 2 miles in as the group spread. We were in heat with some pros so it spread out and gapped pretty well. I worked with my teammate Yesi and it saved me. The first half I closed gaps and stuck behind people then she moved up and I followed. We were in small group with one other girl trying to keep going. I feel off those 2 the last mile and was by myself. I saw them passing people with 600 meters left and knew I needed to move and pass as well. I had a great finish and closed in with Yesi and last lap was a 73. I was absolutely exhausted. I had a really hard time focusing and continuing- I just really wanted to sit down my legs were so tired. It was a challenge to keep going and stay positive lap after lap after lap. I am a little bummed hoping I could run faster but this is what I had tonight. I'll take it.
