I wasn't looking forward to this workout but it actually wasn't too bad. I ran 2 miles warm up then we ran 3x1 mile repeats with 5 minutes recovery at 5:30. The first one I felt pretty good- actually I did for all of them though I do not like being in the back of the pack. I ran 5:29, 5:29 and 5:26 (my bad we sped up the last repeat....) I ran laps between repeats and then cool down on Provo River trail. I am still sore so I got in the ice bath for 15 minutes. That was our last hard workout of the XC season! I cannot believe it is the end of my first season. It went by so fast. |
