Workout at the intramural fields. We ran 400, 800, 400, 800, 400. It should have been a workout I could handle fine but my legs were so. Dead. They felt really heavy, tired, tight and like I had been racing the past couple days. They never warmed up or felt better, I just had to hang onto the group and plod my way through. It was really frustrating. I love the speed workouts where I can push myself into pain that feels good. I felt like I couldn't push today. My 400's were at 77 and 800's 2:40. I hope to get my legs recovered and better by my race.

Rest Days can be a nice break, but many runners feel sluggish the day after a day off. I bet you feel fine tomorrow and great by Friday. Sometimes just a brisk walk on Sunday can give you a day of rest and loosen you up at the same time. What else is there to do on a Sunday in Provo anyway, Go Fireside Hopping. But walk to each one:)
