Usual track warm up, but no drills. (yes!) Tomy, Camille, Sarah Sargent, Olivia, Bill and I went up to the track to run a speed workout. We ran the usual 2 mile warm up, then did a mile and 6 400's with equal recovery. I am starting to get a cold so I was congested and couldn't breathe too well. My gluts were way sore from the jump squats, but I gave it my best. My mile was 5:37.. I think... and my 400's were between 1:18-1:19. (The last one was 1:16). I felt sluggish because I haven't run speed in a long time. We did a mile cooldown to finish. |
