Long run to finish a weird week. I felt pretty good for the first 5 miles then I felt pretty light headed and my lungs were hurting. The last three miles I was able to pick up the pace.

Good week with cross training included.From some of the Pics it looks like you guys had a great trip. Happy to see you got the pool runs in. Even though your weekly miles were down, with the pool runs and all the boating adventures I am sure you had, your time exercising was still there. You were active while getting some relaxation time to recovery from a great track season. Base building will be a key focus now for the next few weeks. Some strong tempos and a little speed thrown in to get you ready for the 10K, is all you will need. It will be a fun race to see how much you have improved from the previous year.
