Pinecones are dangerous... ha. Today was at Cottonwood Complex- home course of Region 6. We ran a 3 mile warm-up around the block around the park. Then we stretched, and ran 8 strides. We introduced Bessie to all the newbies. We ran 4 Bessie loops, and my times were all pretty consistent (within a second or two of each other). Though we started earlier, it got super hot. For a cool down, we ran the region course for 8 miles. I forgot how many loops and hills there are in the course. Later this evening I ran 3 miles with my brother Marcus at a nice pace. After I got home I did my core.... with some yoga :) |
