Last double day of the year! We went to the oval for a workout. 8 laps warm up and 4 laps speed changes. We started with a mile, 10 seconds faster than mile repeats on Monday. I came through at 5:32. It felt really hard and I struggled to pace it right. Then we did an 800 3 seconds faster than half the mile. I ran 2:43- we went out too fast but came in where we needed to be. To end we did 3 sets of 3 300's at 75 pace with a lap recovery between sets. These were hard to go fast but because they were short I could do it. I ran 57, 58, 58 for the first set, 57, 57, 56 for the second and 56, 56, 54 for the last. We picked it up but the group was all moving together. I am happy I was able to push through the dead tired legs and run a good workout. It helped a lot to have such an awesome group to run with! Ran 4 miles later with Garek. Survived the cold runs, now to Hawaii for some heat!

AND a third run for the day... I was persuaded to get the darn 2.5 miles for 3,000 miles for the year. I bundled up and Richie came with me. We took headlamps and it wasn't too bad. YAY for hitting my goal of 3,000 miles this year!
