Yeah for everyone who ran today! You all did amazing. After today's race, I am ready to begin running every day this week again. Pool running and swimming last week was nice, but didn't help me today. I got a little over a mile warm up with strides. I started too fast, and couldn't hold on. I felt sick and couldn't push myself as hard as I wanted too. I felt ok about my time, but was mad I couldn't race with the people I needed to. After the race, I did 4 miles cooldown running the end of the marathon with my brother Marcus and his friend Logan. And to finish, took a three hour nap. |
